Least Favorite Ship day

I was walking through the ember Island house that Toph, Sokka, Zuko, Suki, Katara and I were all staying in. I was obviously trying to find Katara. I mean, since we kissed and all, we’re automatically supposed to be in love with each other. That was my theory anyway. Then, something caught my eye. Hanging on the door arch, was a piece of mistletoe. Now I really wanted to find Katara. Then, as I came to the corner that rounded to the kitchen, I heard her talking to Toph.

“… just can’t wait to see him!” I heard her say. I smiled to myself. ‘She must be talking about me.’ I thought.

“Hey Katara” I said coming around the corner.

“Oh, hi Aang.” She continued wrapping a present.

“Katara, can I talk to you… over here?” I pointed to the door arch.

Completely oblivious to what I was planning, she followed me over there.

Aang was acting weird. But, I didn’t see anything wrong with talking to him. That is, until he told me to look up. I looked up, and my eyes widened. ‘Oh no! He wants to kiss me!’ I looked back over to him to see his lips puckered and his eyes closed.
Then I felt an arm wrap around my waist. I looked up to see Zuko and my eyes brightened immensely. ‘Thank God!’ I thought. I couldn’t help but wrap my arms around him. I knew he saw Aang trying to kiss me. I could see the heat radiating off of his skin. And not in the warm and cuddly kind of way.

My lips were puckered and my eyes were closed. I saw some other guy try it in a movie and it worked out perfectly for him. Suddenly, I felt a wave of heat getting closer to my face. I opened my eyes to see a fireball coming straight for my face. I acted fast on my feet and quickly deflected it with an air blast. I looked over to see Katara, with Zuko’s arms around her waist.

“Don’t touch my girlfriend!” His husky voice was intimidating.

“B-but she… and I-… and we-” I stuttered. A wave of sadness washed over me. I bowed my head in sadness, unable to face her.

I hit Zuko roughly on his shoulder.

“Oww! What was that for?” he whispered.

“ You could have hurt him!” I whispered back fiercely. I felt sorry for him. Aang, that is. I walked over and placed a chaste kiss on his cheek.

He shot his head up and looked at me with a blush that would put any firebender to shame. “Merry Christmas Aang.”

I said before I pulled Zuko around the corner, giving Zuko a passionate kiss. “Don’t be jealous. It’s Christmas.
